We’re proud to share some of the impactful, actionable ways we celebrated to show our support to the LGBTQIA+ community:
📝 Sharing and honoring our LGBTQIA+ teammates’ personal stories
📚 Educating our teammates on the history of Pride Month
👕 Giving away highly-anticipated Kobie Pride T-shirts in exchange for donations to an LGBTQIA+ organization of our teammates’ choice
🏃♀️ Sponsoring and volunteering at the St. Pete Pride Street Carnival and Pride Run
💪 Requiring Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace training for all employees
📣 Amplifying organizations that provide resources and help fight for LGBTQIA+ equality like The Trevor Project, OutRight Action International, and GLAAD
We rounded out the month of June with our annual booth sponsorship at the St. Pete Pride Fest. Full of energy and a great representation of Kobie’s culture, our teammates also raised hundreds of dollars towards charitable organizations of their choice through our Kobie Pride T-shirt sale.
Pride is a time for our LGBTQIA+ family, friends, and colleagues to feel the joy of expressing who they are fully and a chance for allies to demonstrate our love, support, and unwavering acceptance. Although Pride Fest closes out our celebrations for the month, we will continue to create a work environment where every single person can bring their full, authentic self to work
