Joe Disharoon, CTO of Kobie, recently received the Tampa Bay Business Journal CIO of
the Year Award. The CIO of the Year Awards recognize outstanding IT leaders in the Tampa Bay area. This year’s nominees were evaluated on leadership style, strategic innovation, community involvement, significant contributions within an organization and other criteria.
The Tampa Bay Business Journal hosted an awards ceremony for honorees, which Joe, who also celebrated his three-year anniversary at Kobie this August, attended with several of his Kobie teammates.
“I am honored to receive this award and happy to have my team with me, along with the very best technology professionals in Tampa and St. Pete, for the CIO of the Year event,” said Joe after receiving the award. He is a great leader for Kobie and a shining example of excellence in technology leadership, and we are happy to see him receive this well-deserved recognition.
