2019: Year In Review

Jan 11, 2020

We had a wonderful 2019 at Kobie! This year, we hit some huge milestones and accomplished some major goals. As such, we’re taking a moment to reflect on some of our favorite monumental moments from the past twelve months.

First, Kobie had an addition to our leadership team as we welcomed Marti Beller as our new president in January. A former Mastercard executive, Marti has brought a wealth of experience in customer engagement and loyalty strategy. During her tenure thus far, Marti has driven the company to accomplish several initiatives and brought in new ideas for developing corporate goals and furthering our presence in the market. We are beyond excited to have Marti lead our organization and look forward to another year of growth and success under her leadership.

We started 2019 with another major milestone with the launch of Kobie Alchemy® X, our newest loyalty platform. The platform is fully customizable and built to drive meaningful loyalty while making development easy for clients. Alchemy X includes over 600 fine- and course-grain APIs and a real-time decisioning engine that is fully configurable for any loyalty program’s needs. Another key component includes the Experience Engine, which processes consumer data to reward and recognize customers in real time, delivering unique customer experiences.  Since the launch, we have been able to help our clients drive meaningful loyalty with measurable results.

The year was only beginning, as we secured the coveted Leader Status in the Forrester Wave: Loyalty Service Providers. Kobie was recognized as #1 for both our current service offerings in market and our loyalty strategy regarding how to deliver against the future of the industry. We scored the highest possible score in 14 of 22 categories.

Last and certainly not least, 2019 brought an unprecedented experience for our involvement in the St. Petersburg community. This year, we held our first ever Stadium of Screams, where we partnered with the Tampa Bay Rowdies to organize a Halloween haunted house and fall festival throughout the Al Lang Stadium. In just two days, Stadium of Screams hosted over 1000 guests and raised $15,441 for charity. Some other honorable mentions for Kobie’s community work include volunteering more hours than ever before at the St. Petersburg Free Clinic Food Bank and being a first-time community sponsor at St. Petersburg Pride in June of 2019, which we intend to sponsor for many years to come!

All in all, the past year at Kobie has had some unforgettable moments and unprecedented achievements. We look back on 2019 fondly as we approach 2020, which holds yet another big milestone: the 30th anniversary of Kobie. We cannot wait to work even harder to make this year our best yet.
