Throughout June, the month of Pride, we passionately showcased our unwavering support for the LGBTQIA+ community through a diverse range of impactful actions.
Organized Fundraising Campaign
Kobie teammates embraced their chance to contribute to LGBTQIA+ and ally organizations by making donations to their charity of choice, and as a token of appreciation, they were rewarded with a Kobie Pride t-shirt.Through this collective effort, we successfully raised almost $800 in support of the pride community.
Stood Proudly as an Ally
Kobie was overjoyed to receive the Business of Pride award from the Tampa Bay Business Journal. This recognition signifies our unwavering commitment to promoting equality within the workplace for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. Aligned with the very foundations of our company values, we accepted this award with immense pride and gratitude.
Actively Contributed to the Community
Giving back to the community is integral to our DNA at Kobie. During Pride Month, our teammates volunteered at Metro Inclusive Health, assembling sexual health kits. These kits were distributed at the Pride parade and festival in downtown St. Petersburg, promoting healthy sexual habits and well-being.
Celebrated Love
Kobians wholeheartedly embraced the celebration of love at the Pride Street Festival in St. Petersburg. Our Kobie booth featured games, prizes, and a picture-perfect pride photo frame. It fills us with joy to witness this pride event evolving into one of the largest in the Southeast, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this exuberant and love-filled celebration year after year
While Pride celebrations may conclude at the end of June, our commitment as allies remains unwavering.
