Kobie Day is an annual celebration of all things culture at Kobie. From growth & development to DE&I, to building meaningful relationships and celebrating wins – this is our time to come together and highlight the values that make us a place where the best and brightest in loyalty want to work.
Our 2024 Kobie Day took place in August, beginning with the announcement of mid-year promotions to honor the growth and development of individuals. A highlight of the morning was our DE&I Women’s Panel, hosted by the Celebrate It committee to honor Women’s Equality Day.
This panel was not just about representation, but about the challenges our women leaders have overcome. From acknowledging achievements, to personal work-life balance challenges, to unconscious bias and everything in between, the Kobie audience was moved to tears and applause during this exceptionally transparent panel of executive female leaders.
The second half of Kobie Day focused on team building and culture with Office Olympics (for both onsite employees and virtually for remote employees). As a hybrid work environment, we came together to celebrate different countries, participating in a series of games including trivia, cornhole, and other competitively spirited events. While team France ultimately won the gold, every participant won by building relationships and connecting outside of our day-to-day.
Our Kobie Day concluded with a rooftop happy hour, where we took to cheers-ing over our year-to-date wins as a collective group. The most critical component of Kobie day is to celebrate the unique contributions of every employee that accumulates to our recognition as Leaders in Loyalty.
